Donna Brotherton began her career in the investment industry in 1987, with James Investment Research, Inc., an Ohio-based institutional investment advisory firm. While at James, Donna held the positions of Securities Analyst, Compliance Officer, Portfolio Manager and Vice-President/Director of Marketing. Her duties included managing client portfolios, serving as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, and developing the corporate marketing plan.

In 1997, Donna served as a National Accounts Manager for Banc One Investment Advisors. She was responsible for the marketing and external distribution of the One Group Family of Funds to investment firms and brokerage houses at the national level. In 1998, Donna became an owner and managing partner of Brotherton Investment Consultants, LLC, a SEC-Registered Investment Advisor.

Donna is a two-time graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, OH, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, and her Masters degree of Business and Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Donna also earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA.

Donna is a member of the Phoenix CFA Society, and the CFA Institute. Donna currently resides in North Phoenix with her husband, John, their three sons, and twin daughters.
